I've had the most amazing few days in Newquay - Cornwall.
The weather was beautiful, we walked from our hotel (Hotel Sunny Side) to Fistral beach (one of the main surfing beaches) but going the wrong way we turned a 20 minute walk into a two hour hike.
(Being the non-map reading outdoors loving people that we are.) Then decided it was too cold and windy took a 15 minute stroll, (I say that, but it was more of a trek) back.
And that was really the only time we ever went more than a mile from the Hotel.

Mostly everyday was spent in the sea beach body boarding which (even despite my slightly irrational 'sea phobia') was ridiculously fun!
Laura, Jodie Liz and I also had a surfing lesson, and although I couldn't actually get my arm around the width of the board, we had such a good time surfing lessons are now the new 'thing to do' when on holidays =D

We spent one morning Horse riding across the marshy, sandy, fieldy place (I don't think there's one word that sums it all up.) I hadn't realised how much I missed it until we were completely cut off from the main roads and it was just us and the horses.
Walking around Newquay was beautiful, the scenery is amazing!
I'd love to go back again maybe the year after next.
We went to a 16-21's night club, but it was absolutely packed (DJ Ironik was making an appearance - and no, we'd never heard of him until then...like I said...my life is questionable.) with the exception of "I say DJ you say Ironik." the rest of the music was pretty much un-inspirational, beatless and dull.
Any one who did mange to 'dance' was either drunk or deranged...probably both.
That and the fact that most the people there were so sleazy we left after an hour.
fail.

Other than that the town, the people, everything was brilliant!
So, when the entertainment fails...make your own entertainment...
We built a tent in one of the rooms and all sat under it drinking fizzy and eating.
Childish imagination is plenty enough to get by on. =D

(I'll finish updating later, i'm far too tired to do it justice.)
